008. I've gotten rid of a lot, but probably not enough. Or even if I have I'm sure I've replaced those things with others.

009. I did go through my closet and dresser! However, I cannot mark this as complete because I have not actually gotten rid of everything I do not wear anymore. The things left are things that I hope to fit back into some day...

010. >_> <_<

011. Check! As of June 20th, they belong to my brother.

012. Check! Don't really know when I got the new bedding. It was sometime before I moved out.

013. Yay for free stuff!

014. Working on it!

015. Check! As of August 2008 I am a nanny. As of last week I am a nanny x2.

017. July something... Anyway, it happened.

018. Check!

019. Check!

020. Check and check!

self improvement

I'm going to update this thing one section at a time. I can't believe it's been over a year. I HAVE actually gotten stuff done - whether I meant to or not. Although, this particular section needs some work...

001. Do 15 selfish things (0/15)
I can guarantee I have done plenty of selfish things, however, I never got around to counting them, so I'm just going to keep this in mind and start writing down the things I have done. Please feel free to inform me of what I have done that was particularly selfish, but not in a harmful way. I don't want to seem like a dick (even if I am one, seems is everything).

002. Do 15 unselfish things (0/15)
Ditto... Just tell me if I did something nice for you with little benefit to myself. Is there anything?

003. Dye hair blonde (but change immediately if it's awful)
>_>

004. Wear shirts that show off tattoo for seven straight days (0/7)
It's uh, been too cold. <_<

005. Shave legs every three days for a month (10/10) Complete
I ACTUALLY DID THIS ONE! No one really noticed because most of the time I wear pants. But I did it! :D

006. Get a tattoo in a place I can take care of
It'll happen! THIS YEAR. I know what I want, I just have to have money for it.

007. Keep from swearing a whole week (0/7)
Yeah, this definitely hasn't fucking happened yet. Will work on it... maybe.

Huge Update

008: [get rid of 101 things in my closet]
I started to clean it out, but I have yet to actually get rid of anything aside from clothing. As soon as a I have a free weekend I will do my damnedest to get rid of all the crap in my closet.

009: [get rid of all the clothes I do not wear anymore]
Got rid of a lot of clothes, but there's still a lot more I need to go through/convince myself to get rid of them. I don't need clothes I haven't worn in years. A miracle loss of twenty pounds isn't going to happen. Get rid of them. *sigh*

010: [go through stuffed animals and get rid of as many as possible]
Similarly with the clothes, I have gotten rid of some, but I need to get rid of more. And on the bright side it could go toward the crap I need to get out of my closet. Or maybe I can give them to Ariel & Savanah. Whatever. I don't need boxes and boxes of stuffed animals that I don't look at.

015: [get a job]
I need money and I need to move out. So, I'm going job hunting today and tomorrow and whenever I can until I get a freaking job.

018: [clean out desk]
Cleaned out the left side, need to work on the right side. Half done!

020: [move out]
Oh My Paula Deen, I need to move out. It would be much more convenient to have all of my crap in one place as opposed to three. I am tired of dealing with my constantly high brother, almost constantly drunk parental units, of my stuff getting taken out of my room without someone asking me first, I'm tired of not being able to EAT because certain things aren't "kosher enough". And I want to watch shows & movies that involve "too much gore", sex, and swearing. These are just some things that I would like to have happen. SO, once I get a job I am determined to move out as soon as I possibly can.

036: [get more As than Bs this semester]
School is going pretty well so far. I need to up my Spanish studying or something to get that A. That shouldn't be too hard. I mean, I got an 85 on the first test and only studied and hour and missed the most important class of that unit due to being ill. Not half bad. So if I actually study... then it should be okay. English Comp II -- just need to keep up with deadlines. Speech -- whatever, she gives you full credit so long as you get up and talk about SOMETHING. Interpersonal Communication -- easy enough, just need to be more careful on quizzes and keep up with deadlines.

044: [get eyebrows waxed regularly]
I FINALLY got my eyebrows done. I'll need to get them done again within the next few weeks, but at least they look good now! ^_^

066: [365 project]
Fucked that up, will have to wait until next year to try again.

070: [read fifty books]
I have completed one book. Woo!

081: [go dancing]
Alex and I have plans to go out dancing sometime soon, but we have yet to set an actual date for it.

088: [watch all five seasons of Queer as Folk]
Finished the first disk of season 2 a while ago, but need to pick that back up.

096: [re-watch seasons 1-3 of LOST before the season premiere]Okay. I'm really torn about this. As some of you may be aware the season premiere has passed and we're a couple episodes into the season. I completed the first two seasons before then. But I was unable to watch the 3 season due to (1) not owning it, (2) not having a computer to watch it on, and (3) having no money to rent it. I DID however, read a rather detailed as well as a spoof recap of season 3 and watched the first and last episodes. I'll probably just end up dealing with the fact that I failed and cough up the two bucks for it, but I'd like to think maybe it could slide.

COMPLETED #35: Prepare self for Spanish II
Speaking of Spanish, I found a new soap to watch since La Esclava Isaura was canceled. It's called Pasión and it's pretty intense. I think there was a whole five very dramatic scenes about this girl who didn't want to do the dishes.

It seems that in March I very well may complete three more goals!
#48 -- Fly for the first time
#59 -- Go to San Francisco
And maybe
#58 -- Go to a zoo I have never been to before

LOST Queers with a Broken Cell Phone

Yesterday my phone broke in half and it is together only by a wire or two. So, I guess I should probably get a new phone really soon. I've had it for nearly three years -- like Khunya -- but I think that's all it can take. Maybe I should get a new Khunya while I'm at it. :P

Finished season one of LOST.
Finished season one of Queer as Folk.

Eyebrows & Textbooks

I went to go buy two of my three textbooks Thursday, because one of them can only be bought at Rio Grande (thirty minutes away for those of you not familiar with Austin Community College and it's many campuses). Well I didn't really feel like turning around, returning the book and getting the right one. Generally speaking, it wouldn't be much of a problem. But book store lady, or "Vikki", as her name tag claims, is the biggest chatter box in all the world. I'm often surprised she can fit in the building because her mouth is so big. Not really, but she seriously DOES NOT shut up. And you're probably thinking 'Oh, she's exaggerating.' No. Seriously. What could have been a five minute, in and out, sort of errand turns into an hour easily about her going on and on and on about something (in that case how Christmas sucks) you really don't care about because you just want to buy your damn books and go hang out on the couch for the next ten hours, but she's ranting and raving and waving your change about as she goes on and on and on and on. Oh Paula, and THEN! You have to wait for your friend. Which isn't a big deal, normally, but FUCK, she starts the process over again!

Long story short, I have to go exchange the wrong book for the right book. And she will be there. Because she's always there. But by golly I am going to buy my damn book and finish this goal. (Unless they don't have the book at Cypress and I have to wait until the weekend to get it at Rio Grande.)

On another note, I think I might be able to get my eyebrows nice and waxed this week as my mother had offered to get it done Saturday if I was going to be around (which I wasn't, so I didn't). I really hope so because -- butter, this sounds vain -- it's been driving me crazy for like five months and I feel kind of really, horribly ugly when I have these man-eating caterpillars on my face. Not to mention my walrus mustache, as my mother so eloquently put it. But, I dunno, I guess I like people telling me that I have a perfect feature (eyebrows) and I think I look really great with them all cleaned up, even if I haven't bathed in a week (that's never happened, but you get my point) I don't look half bad.

So, yeah.

PS--

I've decided to start replacing the phrases/words "Oh my God!" "Oh god!" "Christ!" and "Jesus Christ!" with "Oh my Paula Deen!" "Oh Paula!" "Butter" and "More butter!"

If you don't know WHO Paula Deen is, you should find out. But you'll get horribly fat if you eat her deliciously buttered food. But it's pretty much worth it.
